TRADITIONAL TRADE FAIR
At this fair you can see demonstrations of around 20 traditional trades: a journey back to the Middle Ages that you won’t want to miss!
The fair is held every two years – in odd-numbered years – beside the church in the hamlet of San Agustín. It is organised by the Olazar Auzo Elkartea association to spread knowledge of the techniques that our ancestors used to make tools, prepare ointments and cook meals.
The centrepiece of the fair is its exhibitions of traditional trades such as blacksmithing, pottery making, bread making, weaving, stone masonry and the manufacturing of soap and paper.
There are also workshops in carpentry, bread baking, soap making, rag doll making and medieval flag making, along with plays, puppet shows and exhibitions of archery and fencing.
